DRINK COFFEE, END TRAFFICKING - The Freedom Builder Coffee Club
The Freedom Builder Coffee Club allows members to support the mission of the Freedom Café and experience – at home or in the office – the same unique, high quality, locally roasted “craft coffee” that we proudly serve in the café. Freedom Builder members commit to a monthly donation that equals or exceeds the fair market value of the coffee to help sustain our educational programing and The Freedom Café provides members a subscription determined amount of delicious ethically sourced craft coffee beans per month.
Because craft coffee is best enjoyed within 2 weeks of roasting, Freedom Builder orders are prepared on the 1st and 3rd Thursday's of each month. We offer local club members the opportunity to pick up their coffee in the café and receive 16oz bags of coffee while members who require shipping receive 12oz bags of coffee with no additional shipping costs.
The Freedom Builder Starter and Coffee Drinker levels constitute a fair market value exchange of goods and service and are not eligible as tax deductible giving donations. Silver, Gold and Platinum members receive a tax deductible giving receipts at the end of each year based on the total amount donated minus the fair market value of coffee received, which is equal to $18 per pound.
How it Works
When you sign up online, we’ll add you to our monthly Freedom Builder email list. Each month we send out a description of the months coffee selections and reminders of when to pick up your coffee.
Coffee is prepared to match your brewing method and equipment. For pick up orders we encourage members to pick up their coffee on the first and third Friday of each month. Coffee shipments are sent on those dates.
If a pick up member is not able to make it during Cafe Open Hours, their coffee will be placed on the Freedom Builder club pickup shelf with their name on the bag where it can be picked up 24 hours/day. (The Freedom Builder shelf is just inside the Main floor side-door of our building at 10 Mill Rd. Durham, NH).
Starter members who pick up in the cafe may choose one 16oz bag of coffee per month. Those who require shipping will receive one, 12oz bag per month. All other subscriptions will be ready for pick up or shipped on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.

The Freedom Café is a registered charity in the State of New Hampshire and is recognized as a tax exempt 501c3 non-profit by the IRS. 100% of funds donated for our non-profit programming is tax deductible. For donations over $250 a receipt will be mailed within 2 weeks. All donors will be sent a letter of receipt at the end of each year with the total of your giving for the year.
